Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Agreement") carefully before using the EZ Child Support™ web application ("Service") operated by Artistic Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you have the authority to bind your law firm ("Licensed Firm") and agree to be bound by all terms of this Agreement.

1. License Grant

Artistic Labs grants the Licensed Firm a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for the purpose of servicing the clients of attorneys associated with the Licensed Firm. The Service is licensed for use, not sold, and is protected by copyright laws of the United States and other jurisdictions. You may not sublicense, resell, or make the Service available to any third party outside your firm.

2. Accounts and Authorized Users

The Service may be used only by attorneys and support staff associated with the Licensed Firm. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription and Trial

New accounts begin with a free trial period. After the trial expires, continued use of the Service requires an active paid subscription. Subscription fees are subject to change with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to suspend access to accounts with expired subscriptions.

4. Beta Disclaimer

The Service is currently in beta. While we work diligently to ensure accuracy, the forms and calculations generated by the Service have not been fully validated for use in judicial proceedings. You acknowledge that all output must be reviewed using your independent professional legal judgment before filing with any court. Use of the Service in its current state is at your own risk.

5. Independent Professional Judgment

Artistic Labs provides no legal services, advice, or representation. This Agreement is entered into with the understanding that authorized users are licensed attorneys competent in the practice of family law, or persons acting under their supervision. The information you input and the forms generated by the Service must be judged for correctness, completeness, currency, and appropriateness using your independent professional judgment.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service. Artistic Labs claims no ownership interest in your case data, client information, or generated documents. We store your data solely to provide the Service to you and do not access, sell, or share it with third parties except as required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

EZ Child Support™ is a trademark of Artistic Labs. The Service, including its source code, design, and documentation, is the copyrighted property of Artistic Labs. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service. Artistic Labs claims no copyright in any portion of the Service that embodies forms or materials created by officers or employees of the State of Alabama as part of their official duties.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL ARTISTIC LABS BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. ARTISTIC LABS' TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it upon request.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Rutherford County, Tennessee.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
