This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service. We are committed to protecting the sensitive legal data you entrust to us.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, firm name, phone number, and business address.
Case Data: In the course of using the Service, you may enter sensitive personal information about parties to legal cases, including names, dates of birth, Social Security Numbers (last 4 digits or full), addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, employment details, and financial information. This data is entered by you and stored solely to provide the Service.
Usage Data: We collect basic telemetry about how the Service is used (page views, error rates, performance metrics) through Microsoft Application Insights to maintain and improve service reliability. This data does not include the content of your cases.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. Specifically:
To authenticate your identity and manage your account
To store and retrieve your case data so you can generate legal forms
To diagnose technical issues and improve service reliability
To communicate with you about your account or service updates
3. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure (Azure Cosmos DB) located in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access to the database is restricted to authenticated application services only. We use Microsoft Entra External ID for secure authentication — we never see or store your password.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal or case data with any third party. We do not use your data for advertising. Your data may only be disclosed if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or subpoena.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
6. Data Retention
Your case data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you choose to close your account, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your case data or request its deletion by contacting us. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by licensed attorneys and legal professionals. We do not knowingly collect information directly from individuals under the age of 18. Case data involving minors is entered by authorized legal professionals in the course of their professional duties.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
